A new but familiar name has jumped into the hunting rifle market, and they have made a big splash! Beretta has introduced their new BRX1.

Chamberings will include .300 Win Mag, .30-06 Springfield, and .308 Winchester to start. We suspect they will probably offer other popular calibers down the line. The weight for these guns will come in at a little over seven pounds unloaded. Lengths for the M14, cold hammer-forged, interchangeable barrels will vary between 20 inches and 24 inches depending on the chambering, with magnum calibers like the .300 Win Mag getting the 24-inch barrels. It is already available in Europe but not the U.S. we expect it to be available at the beginning of 2022.

Below is a description straight from their website and a video showing all of the features!

Beretta enters the world of hunting rifles and chooses to use the linear reloading system, creating a revolutionary weapon that encompasses all of Beretta’s experience in rifled weapons, developed with years of designing weapons in both the military and civilian world.

FAST: The BRX1 is faster, more instinctive, and easier to shoot thanks to its linear reloading system, superb ergonomics, and balance. With a demonstrably quick caliber change, ambidextrous conversion, and adjustable trigger weight, it’s also easy to adjust.

ACCURATE: The concentric barrel and chamber are both cold hammer-forged from one piece of premium steel. The special bedding geometry ensures the barrel maintains the correct position, resulting in at least a three-shot group S.U.B. M.O.A. guaranteed by the factory.

RELIABLE: The military-based, ultra-tried and tested, locking system features a rotating bolt head with eight locking lugs or 16 magnum calibers.
Safe and strong, the BRX1 successfully passed the NATO tests, which are performed on Beretta military firearms.
